2-Preparation: The targeted area is cleaned, and a gel pad or membrane is applied to protect the skin from direct contact with the cooling device.

3- Cooling applicator: A specialized applicator is placed on the treatment area. This applicator has a vacuum mechanism that gently pulls the targeted fat bulge into the cooling cup. The vacuum ensures the fat layer is exposed to the controlled cooling without affecting the surrounding tissues.

4- Controlled cooling: Once the applicator is in place, the device starts cooling the targeted fat cells. The temperature is maintained at a specific level, usually between -11°C and -5°C (12°F and 23°F), for a predetermined period, typically between 35 and 60 minutes. The cooling process causes the fat cells to crystallize and undergo apoptosis (cell death) without harming the skin, nerves, blood vessels, or other tissues in the area.

5- Massage: After the treatment, the applicator is removed, and the treated area is massaged for a few minutes. This helps to break down the crystallized fat cells and improve the body's lymphatic drainage, facilitating the elimination of the destroyed fat cells.

6- Fat elimination: Over the next few weeks, the body naturally processes and eliminates the dead fat cells through the liver and the lymphatic system. This results in a reduction of the fat layer in the treated area, leading to a more contoured appearance.

7- Follow-up sessions: Depending on the individual's goals, multiple treatment sessions may be required, typically spaced a few weeks apart.
